Latest Message from club President, Ian McEwen, 20 May

The Saturday competitions will be starting this Saturday 23 May.
In order to assist with social distancing, we plan to tee off between
11.30am & 12.30pm. We will be using tees 1 & 10 with groups
of 4 being sent off as they arrive.
We will not be putting out the disc board, just come to the side windows
of the office to book in. We will be opening the bar (with some restrictions)
and the tables have been separated so that you only sit
with your playing four. It has been decided not to hold prize
giving for now but results will be posted on the
website with any balls or money will be given out the
next Saturday as you sign in.
It is important that you sign the Contact Tracing Register that
will be placed on a table in front of the clubhouse.
For your personal hygiene it has been
suggested that you wash your hands before and after you play golf and
there will be a bottle of sanitizer placed at the men's, ladies and
the main door of the clubhouse for your use.
Remember that if you feel at all unwell please stay at home.
It will be good to be playing on Saturday golf again.
Stay safe. Regards, Ian McEwen President

Pleasant Point Golf Club

The Pleasant Point Golf Course is just 12km's from Timaru on State Highway 8, the main route to Mount Cook, Queenstown and the Southern Lakes. Bordered by lush farmland, council reserves and a newly created deer park, many holes enjoy views to the snow covered foothills of the Southern Alps.

The Ross Newdick designed back nine is enhanced with a clear spring fed stream meandering through seven of the holes. The course and its surrounds are planted with mature trees both deciduous and evergreen and an automated 18 hole pop-up sprinkler system combined with flat terrain and sand based greens make for ideal play all year round.
