Some course maintenance.
Just letting you know that we have had a bit of activity on course late yesterday afternoon. Whilst Damian was waiting for confirmation from 2 contractors, they both arrived and achieved the following .
- No 8 tee levelled and readied for sowing of grass in a few days
Temporary tee will be in place until such time ready for play again .
- Arborist has felled the old conifer on No 7. Branches will be removed and mulched tomorrow by the arbor team leaving just the bigger wood for the volunteer team to cut up for firewood .
Next week, it is planned to make a start on taking the soil currently stored adjacent to the practice area across to cover the stump of the old conifer and build a new mound to join with the existing one on No 1. Plus level the ‘teeing area ‘ on the practice area.[Southern end]. We anticipate that we will get this area seeded with new grass seed prior to winter .
