Hole 11. Any player who feels that the creek (hazard) crossing no.11 is proving too difficult to hit over with their first shot, can elect to play from the yellow tee markers for a penalty of 1 stroke. As yellow tees are course rated any player can elect to play from these.

Congratulations to Charlotte Low. She will be representing Aorangi,  in the Eagles National Under 17 Tournament, which will be played at Windross Farm [Auckland] this coming week. Good luck Charlotte.

SPONSORS SPOTLIGHT

THE PONT BUTCHER: One of our best sponsors and a local business. Haydn supports Thursday golf, our par 3 tournament, Summer Classic plus much more. If you have been fortunate enough to win one of his vouchers you will realise what quality meats are all about. If you need a tasty T-bone, a great Sunday roast or something for the barbie call in and see Haydn and his helpful staff. You won’t be disappointed.

WASHINGTONS EXPLORATION: One of our oldest sponsors. Their first sponsorship was drilling the well next to the rugby field. Ever since, they have supported the Club by being a Platinum sponsor and give cash and services to the Club valued at over $1000. They support the Club with a $500 donation and $250 for the Country Ambrose. See Steve if you have any drilling requirements.

HAMMER HARDWARE TEMUKA; Karl and his team have supported the Club for over 10 years. They have provided $640 worth of vouchers for various tournaments each year. These vouchers provide the lucky winners with a wide variety of goods to choose from in their Temuka store. Support them if you can.

MAINFREIGHT; a well-known New Zealand wide freight company with a strong social conscience. They apply this to the Club by donating $500 each year and have done for over 10 years. They are amazing to deal with so if you have any freight requirements, please give them the opportunity to help.

Hyundai will no longer be sponsoring our hole-in-one, we thank them for their support over the years, it has been greatly appreciated. One of our members has stepped in to take on this sponsorship. We also thank Warren at Golfstop for his offer to sponsor this.
